"ROXY" 77/101 OF 101 PET PORTRAITS IN 101 DAYS © SAUNDRA LANE GALLOWAY

FIRST OF ALL...I think this photo came out darker than the ptg.  We just had a big snowstorm, so that may have had something to do with it...so, in your imagination brighten it up a bit...and looking at Roxy in the different photos below may give you a better idea...I'm sometimes really frustrated at the way monitors show color!  But...on we go!

"Roxy" is an energetic and fun loving boxer pup whose pet dad is Jason Moore.  I loved the unexpected strong oranges, yellows, dark cranberry colors that gave Roxy her contrast and fell into the neighborhood of the fauvist style.  Playing with the blues and greens in the background completed this special dog portrait.  Roxy comes ready to frame OR can beautifully sit on an easel like this one!

Let's look at the frame ideas for Roxy to see which looks best...and if we can get a better idea of the colors...

This easel shot looks pretty good...it was taken in indoor light, but with big windows.  The easel can be found at Hobby Lobby.
This Maple Floater from can be found at pictureframes.com in their floater frame section.  The softness and bright color seems to show pretty well here.

I'm liking the black frame...it gives a great contrast!

Roxy looks great in the GOLD LEAF frame as well...

HAPPY CREATING!
