"Belle" the Ostrich is painted over a slightly textured 6"x6" panel and
framed in this one of a kind whitewashed distressed 12"x12" frame. That
plucky face is just waiting to find a home with someone with a "birdy"
sense of humor!
and, speaking of birds...we have a whole family of hummingbirds that just love what is left of our summer deck flowers...I've been trying to catch this fellow the entire summer!
Well, my little Nebraska family is doing SO well...our sweet Gracyn is now just 6 months old, and her brother, my adorable Paxton has made it to 4 with few bumps and scrapes! Just had to share!
I've had my hand in one of my existing paintings...yep, just had to re-work an area in the middle that was bugging me...here she is before...
nothing wrong with this painting...but the center seemed wrong to me today...so, I punched up the color a bit and added a couple or three more trees...
I'm working on another Texas landscape as well as a couple of comission pups for a collector...
