FOR SALE IN MY ETSY SHOP
SO, a few things have been added to my life...you know about the writing of articles...you can access them from the light bulb photo on my sidebar, WHERE you can sign up for new articles in your e-mail, or click YAHOO VOICES to read my latest one entitled "Brainstorming is an Excellent Tool for Success". In this article I talk about the particulars of bullet list brainstorming and Mind Map brainstorming.
I've also decided to re-open my ETSY shop. IN my new Etsy shop I will be offering small original paintings for EXCELLENT prices! I'm doing this for several reasons. ONE being I love the opportunity to offer affordable pops of art to collectors who love the painting but are like me and may not have the deepest of pockets for a housefull of big ole art pieces! TWO, I love to paint SO much it is a way to work on smaller pieces when I have momentary ideas that need to be satisfied! These small works may end up being preliminaries for bigger works, or just stand on their own as the bright pop of color and subject they are! and THREE, well, I have a student loan that I need to be paying off, and I can't think of a better way to try to do that than painting!! The way I see it...IT'S A WIN, WIN for all...IF you like my work that is!!
"ACORN IN GREEN" is the one and only SO far...more coming VERY SOON!! I will be painting on these 1/2" fiberboard panels for those who desire the simplicity of the painting with black sides. These pieces can be hung as is (slots on back), sit on a shelf (due to their 1/2" depth), or can be mounted on panels painted with black gesso and framed in black like the pieces I've just completed in previous posts..."Cherry" for one on my August 1, 2012 post. AND I will be painting on 1/8" gesso'd panels that can be framed outright...OR also mounted as described above.
One of my favorite places to get small frames is a new company I've been using called pictureframes.com. They have pretty reasonable prices and offer frames for as small as 4"x4" in many of their profiles. Check them out. Another place I often go to scour for frames is Hobby Lobby of all places...Look around...you can often find some great frames for little!
I hope you all will take a moment to hop to my Etsy shop and click favorites or like or just smile and know more is coming soon! Or, even better...click on that ole purchase button and grab this little green gem for yourself!!
HAPPY CREATING!!
