STUDIO SALE "BABY BEAR" ORIGINAL ACRYLIC OF STUFFED TEDDY BEAR © SAUNDRA LANE GALLOWAY

"Baby Bear"
12"x12" acrylic on stretched canvas
STUDIO SALE $100 +$12 shipping in the US

This is one of my favorite paintings from when I was painting exclusively in acrylic. It is simple, but charming to me.  I love his little pose, I love the shadows and such being purple, I LOVE his dexterity...and he has been hanging in my house for just me for awhile.  But, I can share him now...I may paint him again in some way, but it's coming on Christmas and I feel like sharing! He's in the studio sale section of my website...he's here right now, hell be on Daily Paintworks when they pick up this blog post, and,...oh...and facebook...tee hee...I'm offereing you my little baby bear!

I LOVE this time of year for so many reasons...number one the colors...also for the memories and warm feelings it evokes.  (Like offering my baby bear :)).  One of my fun memories is the first time I had my kids picture taken with Santa.  My wonderful son Jonathan was fine...but my sweet daughter was not so fine.  I'm looking for those photos...they are great! BUT, this year was my grandson's first attempt to take pics with the jolly ole elf...and just like his mamma...it was not so fine...:) SO, for your holiday enjoyment..."Paxton and Santa" take one...
I can just imagine him saying "Ok, this looks colorful (his artist Nana's way of thinking)...I like this guy"...
BUT...
"NOOOOOOOOO!...Get me off of this guy!!!"
"Not even with dad...get me outta here!" (This is just so you know how close dad was in the making of this story!!)
Whew...a better moment...I'd like to say my daughter is an awesome photographer!!  Look at his reflection in the bulb...NICE!
AND LATER...
Decorating the tree with his Grandma and Grampa Grimes!! They also love the stuffing out of this boy!! YEA!
So, this little holiday story was brought to you by a very happy to see the pics Nana!

NOW...a happy little side story...Last night my hubby took me on a date to Louisville...we ate at a lovely little restaurant and went shopping in the town and ended up at my gallery; "Creations Art and Gifts" for a special Saturday art walk to coinside with their festivities in town.  AND, I'm happy to say that I sold not one, but THREE paintings...so, we give a fond farewell to...
"Peaceful Summer"
(boy did I need one after THIS summer ::)
"Fall Aspen"
(one of my favorite remakes)
and...
"Gore Range Layers"
(my gallery owners were sad to see it go, and happy...this was their absolute fav)
SO, YIPPEE and WOO HOO...that doesn't happen very often...BUT, not to rest on those laurels...I'm off to paint some more!!

HAPPY CREATING!

Wonderful photos all the way through, Saundra. Congratulations on your sales. My newest granddaughter will be/would be the same way with Santa. They haven't gone yet. Not sure if they will but I too wanted a photo.

Congrats on your sales!!!!!!!!! I was just going to check and see if you're still in the gallery.
Guess you'll be staying.
