What a glorious day at the beach...the ocean waves coming in with a
breeze and under a beautiful striped beach umbrella! This is a perfect
reminder of such days, and ready to come home to give you that smile as
you remember days like these! "Beach Stripes" is painted in oil on a
4x4" slightly textured panel. You can bring it home as is to set on an
easel or frame in your own 4x4" frame (remember 1/2" is taken on all
sides). OR, for .50 more I can mount it on a 5x5" black matt so you can
frame it in your own 5x5" frame, OR you can order this with the black
matt and frame shown to sit on a table or hang! The choice is yours!
"Beach Stripes" will be ready to ship on July 16, 2014 when it is dry.
Shipping prices reflect the framed choice, but if you order it without I
will adjust charges to reflect the lighter weight!
This photo came from a blogger friend of mine; Alisa Burke. She took it years ago, but graciously let me use the image. Thanks Alisa!
I'm getting excited for my little grandson Paxton's 3rd birthday! I can't believe time has passed so quickly! This little part of my family recently moved to a new house, and his room needs new artwork...so, nana is on it! I want to pay homage to these years of his little life where the alphabet has been SO important to him! He learned his letters so early, and still loves to play with them...he spells now and is absolutely still the apple of my eye! SO, nana is going to paint him something with his precious letters...and also pay homage to his home town team that is a big part of all of the family...the Nebraska Huskers...This sketch is the beginning...stay tuned as I play with letters myself in honor of my little sweetie pie! FUN DOINS!
HAPPY CREATING!

Love the sand-like texture added to this beach umbrella; perfect for the subject of the painting. It is so cool! Yes indeed; Oakley will be 3 on September 20th too. Where does the time go? Love your start for Paxton's new room. Those will be awesome!!
