We had a decision to make yesterday whether we were going to go hiking around the Namba Lake or go to Taos so I could photograph the famous church San Francisco De Asis...Yep, the church won...which turned out to be a good choice for many reasons; one being it was really WINDY and would have been exhausting to hike in that...yippee for me...tee hee!
Back tracking a bit...loved this shot of the New Mexico moon our first night here...On to Taos...I took about a hundred pics of that old church front and back...
Then on it to Taos to see their galleries. I found them nice, but a little less organized than in Santa Fe, but still fun!
On the way back to Santa Fe we drove past a fire that was by the river that has grown quite a bit...sigh...there were three fires in New Mexico yesterday...I guess it is every where!
Today we are headed back home, and I'm glad. Although it was good to have some new surroundings, it is time to get back to work; which for me is getting ready for the June Summer Art Market and for my hubby...finding a JOB!
HAPPY CREATING!

Can't wait to see what you paint from these!
Je suppose que ce voyage va déclencher chez toi une foule de bonnes idées que tu mettras en valeur dans de nouvelles créations...
Bon retour à la maison! et tout plein de choses pour ton époux...
Bisous et merci pour ces belles photos.
Gosh. Each new photo and I'm thinking "ooh, this is my favorite!" but then I read on. And it starts again. Then I scroll to the top to look at all of them all over again. Bottom line? They are all such cool photos! I've always heard of the Taos art community but didn't realize there was one in Santa Fe too. (I would so love to live in an artist community!) I guess for that reason, I am a bit surprised to know that the galleries in Taos were a bit more disorganized. I love learning new things! Hope you have/had a safe trip, my friend.
Thanks all! I'm sure I will be painting from these pics as soon as time will allow!...
