This is actually a re-paint of one I didn't even post. It began in the traditional way with the dark background as with some other etsy fruit paintings, but the pear looked kind of shriveled...NOT an apetizing thing to have on your walls, SO, I re-worked him, sat him up all straight and tall like a proud little pear...and then couldn't resist adding a bit of stamp to blend color from pear to background, background to pear...I like it MUCH better now...and this little pear has had SO much attention he is even blushing!
As has been my pattern...he is painted black on the sides and can be mounted at no extra charge on a black backer board to frame him in a 5"x5" frame...either way...he is pear"ly" ready for you!!
AND...I finally settled on a stain color for "Subtle Passage of Crows"...I went with an English Oak; rapidly becoming my favorite...it is a nice contrast with the star of the show!

Paxton is one now, Ms. Saundra Lane Galloway. I don't remember seeing photos! And I do love the pear with those little square stamps around it. Beautiful blush, might I add!
