"Phyllis O" - an Ostrich
4"x4" oil on panel with black painted sides
SOLD
Still traveling in Nebraska, but not fogetting to post, this, another ostrich is for your pleasure! I do SO enjoy painting them!! I've got to get back to the zoo...now I'm wanting to spend a good bit of time watching these creatures...but at a distance!!
"Phyllis O" is just right for that quirky person who finds humor in a bird that is said to be quite aggressive...but, their faces are just so funny! Painted in oil on a 4"x4" panel with black painted sides, Phyllis is ready for framing (remember the lip in a frame takes away about 1/8" on each side...or more), sitting on a shelf against any little thing, or on a small easel. IF you wish, I can mount "Phyllis O" on a 5"x5" black backer board so she can be framed in a 5"x5" frame. The black frame shown is not included in the purchase, but is an example. You can find frames like this at Michael's. Just request it to be mounted when you purchase. There is no extra charge! "Phyllis O" will be ready to ship April 19, 2013 when she is dry!
HAPPY CREATING!

So cute, but Ossie is still cuter!
Ha...to each his or her own! All I know is I can't keep them in my shop, and they are tons of fun to paint! Thank you Crimson Leaves!
