"Dragonfly in Blue and Green"
4x4" oil on textured panel
This light and airy little dragonfly is a symbol for change and light; a
perfect combination for any decor! The background is a soft tanish
with blue highlights. You can purchase her as is and sit her on a small
easel, or you can frame her in your favorite 4" x 4" frame (keep in mind
the frames take 1/2" on all sides), or for just .50 I can mount her on a
black or off white 5"x5" backer board so you can frame her in your
favorite 5"x5" frame with all the sides showing! The two examples shown
are not for sale, but you can find the black frame at Michaels, and the
off white frame on ETSY at Rustic and Refined Design! "Dragonfly in
Green and Blue" will be ready to ship on or about November 1, 2014 when
she is totally dry!
I also just finished a fun piece of furniture that went to my gallery in Westminster; the Aar River Gallery. I'm thinking I'm hooked on dragonflies of late!
Painted in a beautiful light shade of sage (I consider a neutral), with some paper and palm leaves to boot, this fun piece was a joy to paint!
HAPPY CREATING!
