Not much different in color on this second pet portrait of Lottie but the background...For some reason the green didn't come off like it really is...it is more appleish green...and the bits of blue aren't as obvious...I've been having such a time with photos of late...but you get the idea!

Busy time here at the Galloway house!  What else is new! LOL...it's cleaning out old files day for me...So far I've filled two large bags of shredded docs...I hope I don't let it go this long next time!  But, I need to make room for walking and painting, so on I go!

In this second of my pet portrait series I decided to stay with strength of contrast in the "white" of Duke. Duke is otherwise known as Duke the Destroyer by his pet mom Caroline Bakken. She reports he is a good boy, but a counter thief and a chewer of paper and plastic goods. You can also see I have exaggerated the colors within the white areas of Duke.  You will find no actual black in this portrait...if you look closely you will see the dark areas are purples and blues.  The eyes are his natural color as I stated in my prospectus for this project.  I will do my best to stay true to that color.
