It has been busy at the Galloway house the past few days. Getting ready to go to California on Thursday and all the other mundane things that go with life. It is frustrating to me that I don't have the time I want to devote to painting, but life is life and the holidays are a comin! I keep saying to self to give myself a break...but I've learned women don't always do a great job of that. I started a painting of a turkey; it's a funny pic, but must not have been in the mood for that, so I started a painting of some rocks and trees on our property, but it is still in it's infancy!
I'm off to sub for the afternoon at the high school I graduated from, so the afternoon is gone as well...
I found the photo I think I want to work from to do my Molly challenge. It is funny and I think my step son will get a kick out of it. I thought I would share that since I'm to be working today.
I haven't decided if I'm going to take my computer to San Diego as they charge for EVERYTHING out there! $25 a day to park at every hotel and resort out there, surcharge for wireless...It's the principal of the thing! Rest assured if I don't I will certainly be taking tons of pics to share when I return! With a story or two I am sure!

Viszlas are such great - and beautiful - dogs. I know your stepson will love any painting of her that you do. I know you will have a great time visiting with your son, Saundra. I miss your posts when you are unable to post each day, but I do understand (big of me, eh? LOLOL). Hoping today brings you some restful moments and maybe even a free hour to do something just for you or that you want to do!
Thank you Autumn Leaves! I know things have been slow in my studio of late, but I'm sure it will pick up! I am SO excited to see my son!! And thanks...you and Jeanne keep reminding me that they are Vizlas! I've got her sketched out...now to paint!!
