I woke up this morning with a strong feeling I wanted to paint something with a sense of humor, and I think this guy is it! Gotta love that face! I enjoyed painting him so much I just may do more...FUN DOINS!
You can see that I've painted the sides black as I do for my small ones for ETSY...and the suggestion for framing is as below...The frame is not included, but I get these at Michaels...
It is almost MARCH folks! I can't believe how fast time is rolling along! It was time to do a calendar page...this one has a few activities and holidays...as promised..I'm reminding you and showing you...
This was more painting and stamping...a few easter eggs and bunnies thrown in the mix...Gotta love doin my own!!
It is ANOTHER snow day here in the mountains...I'm telling you....I'm ready for SUMMER!! But, I spent a few minutes with my little squirrel buddy and taking a few photos...
Here's to tomorrow...sun and no more snow...

Je ne sais pas si cela peut vous consoler mais chez moi aussi l'hiver perdure... le peu de neige qu'il est tombé ce weekend elle est rendue très gelée avec le froid tenace...
J'aime beaucoup votre autruche... j'ai peint deux fois des autruches et à chaque fois j'ai ressenti un réel plaisir...
La vôtre est particulièrement réussie. Son regard m'amuse beaucoup !
Votre petit écureuil doit commencer à être à court de provisions...

I so prefer winter to summer so it can keep on coming in my book. Anyway, love the ostrich and you've handled those irises beautifully (the ones in the ostrich's eyes, I mean). Did you do a baby ostrich for Paxton? I love how busy with art you always stay, Saundra. I wish I had the imagination and the time. I eke out pieces when I can find time and energy, both in short supply these days.
Thank you CrimsonLeaves...he was a joy to paint...I must do it again! My art is my solice and my joy...I don't always feel like putting brush to canvas, but I miss it when I don't...so on I go...
