Daisy in the Midst




This 8x8" acrylic canvas wrap was really one daisy in the midst of a very busy flower arrangement. I was really interested in how the lights and darks played on the surface of this one flower, and didn't want to get too busy with what was around it as it was "busy" enough on the surface of this flower. I don't know how I feel about it yet, but it was one of those that I just had to paint to see what it would turn out to be...

Your paint texture and the colours you achieve in a WHITE painting are incredible. This is beautiful.

Thank you Liz...I saw so many different colors within the shadows...It was a very different sort of light...couldn't really see the source, but that made it interesting in itself...
