"Forest Floor" is a 12x6" 3/4" cradled panel with stained sides. There is a lot going on in this little piece. I layed down several different papers before I added the foliage on the floor and the aspen. I didn't have a base color for the little pine so I painted on paper before I layed it down. I think the challenge was keeping some contrast within this very busy little piece.
