"LUCY" 65/101 OF 101 PET PORTRAITS IN 101 DAYS © SAUNDRA LANE GALLOWAY

I had SO MUCH FUN painting Lucy!  I believe she is a tree frog...so her colors were ALREADY fauvist...I just punched them up a bit!  Lucy's pet mom is Ariana Jones.  Ariana is a student of Gail James; ROXY's mom...the Cocker Spaniel pup from a few weeks ago.  I was really excited to paint Lucy for Ariana and this project!

Lucy looks good in all the choices for display...which is YOUR favorite?
I am really liking the easel selection for these pets!

Maple floater frame has my vote this time around...something about the natural wood and natural frog! LoL A beauty of a painting, despite the reptilian subject! (Frogs ARE reptiles, aren't they??)
