Marker is a fun fauvist example...there is a lot of color woven into his
portrait! Purples, oranges, yellows and those green eyes! I have been
in love with turquoise of late and for this cat it just worked for the
background. Jan Smith; Marker's pet mom; inherited Marker when her
father passed away. Marker reminds me of a cougar...I don't know many
of them, but for some reason he reminds me of them. It could be the
coloring in the photo, never the less I VERY respectfully painted him!
lol Marker comes ready to frame or he also looks great sitting on an
easel!
The following examples for possible display choices are an easel and FLOATER FRAMES. For those who may not have been following for long, a floater frame is a frame that shows the all the painting edges. A regular frame takes up about 1/2" on each side of a painting. These portraits have mostly been cropped so the face fills most of the frame, so some may want to show all the way to the edge. These frames allow this. You can purchase any of the following frames from pictureframes.com in their floater frame section.
I purchased my easel at Hobby Lobby. It is a great simple way to display your portraits.

Those eyes are just stunning! I like this in both the gold frame and on the easel!
