This is a buck that actually visited our mountain.  I caught him looking curiously in our windows one day!  He is painted on a 4"x4" panel that has slight texture.

I chose to frame him in a fun little gold 5"x5" wood frame and matt him in a contrast blue to help him pop among all the forest greens.  I could have matted him in white for a safer, more appealing to the masses end result, but I felt playful for this guy today, thus the blue!  FUN DOINS!

"S' Up" an Ostrich

 When I see this face, I see the phrase "S' Up"...doesn't this ostrich just look like that is what is being said! A funny look at a funny bird that has a million faces; all funny! "S' Up" is for the person with a sense of humor! "S' Up" is painted in oil on a slightly textured panel. You can frame this ostrich as is in your favorite 4"x4" frame (keep in mind 1/2" is taken on all sides when framing), or for just .50 more I can mount this funny bird on a 5"x5" off white or black backer board so you can frame in your favorite 5"x5" frame with all sides showing! The examples are shown with each color; though the frames are not included. I've been exploring frame options for some of my panel paintings.  I came up with this frame for my "Yellow and White Daisies" that will be hanging in the Stanton Gallery Littleton show coming up January 6, 2015! This one has a couple types of molding...and paper...FUN!

Another frame I came up with for my daughter's Christmas painting to go in baby girl's room I hear...I've made one like it for my newest ostrich painting posting soon!!

"Lashes" is a woman who knows how to highlight her best feature. She knows she isn't the most beautiful girl in the realm, but those lashes...well, they are front and center! "Lashes" is painted in oil on a 4"x4" textured panel. She can be framed as is (keep in mind that a 4x4 frame will take 1/2" off each side), or she can sit on a small easel. What else can be said about this little fun gem, but it's a piggy tail! Meant to attract the one who needs to find a smile in your artwork, this little baby is for you! "Piggy Tail" is painted in oil on a 4"x4" textured panel. Doesn't this little one just look like he or she;( I haven't got a clue which) is a little bit quackers? All discombobulated and crooked, but always smiling! This little bundle of happy is painted in oil on a 4"x4" textured panel.
