"PIERRE" 31/100 OF 100 PET PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS © SAUNDRA LANE GALLOWAY

Sold to his Pet Mom Michelle.

Pierre is cool...he's a rescue malamute dog that is loved by his pet mom Michelle Brigman.  I loved working on this one as I used an orange base color before I even painted him.  The strokes are bold, but short, and the blues and purples are off set with the wonderful oranges!  A true fauvist effort!

I FINALLY got my frames of different colors in so you could SEE the difference they can make.  These are all floater frames you can find through pictureframes.com .  Just go to the site, check the top left corner for any sales, and type in floater frames into the sites search engine and there you go!  The frames are not included in the painting price, but I like to give you options!

FYI.  For those of you who may not remember how I have framed these flat panels (they are 1/4-1/8" thick) here is the simplest way I have found.  Get some foam core and cut it to the bottom shelf section of the frame.  This will be obvious when you get your frame.  THEN, get some permanant mountain squares...put two on the back corners of the foam core.  Press your panel painting on and then you can either glue the foam core in, or, if it is tight enough...that will be it!  You have to put the wire on back, but not hard...and...VOILA`.

HAPPY CREATING!
