This jaunty fellow is giving you the "take me home" stare! A simple goose, but full of character, and OH SO PERSUASIVE! You can have him as is to sit on a small easel, or frame in your favorite 4"x4" frame. (remember frames take up 1/2" on each side), OR for just .50 more I can mount him on an off white backer board so you can frame him in your favorite 5"x5" frame with all his sides showing as in the example shown. *The frame is not included, but you can purchase one of my 5x5" frames here on ETSY if you wish! I will put it all together for you! "Goose Face" will be ready to ship on Friday, November 28, 2014 when he is dry!

This painting is one of my ETSY shop items, however, I am out of town for a week visiting my beautiful daughter, awesome son-in-law, and precious grandson Paxton, thus the buy now button.  Quite frankly it is just a little challenging doing as much on my ipad as I do on my laptop...but, we'll muddle through!
I've had SO many requests for more ostrich's that I have tried to paint a couple more...the next one coming soon!!  And, I admit...they make me laugh...THAT is the draw for me!!
Ossie just seems to have a little bit to say!  Perfect for that person who has a little bit of a sense of humor!  Painted in oil on 4x4" panel with black painted sides, Ossie is ready to sit on an easel or shelf, or AT NO EXTRA CHARGE Ossie can be mounted on a 5"x5" black backer board so he/she can be framed in a 5"x5" frame so all sides show! The choice is up to you...just request the mounting when you purchase!  Please note the black frame is just a suggestion, and is not included in the price. However you can find frames like this at Michael's.  Ossie will be ready to ship on April 19, 2013 when she/he is dry...I just couldn't decide the sex on this one! lol

Another crow offering for my gallery in Conifer, unless he sells here in the next week! HA.  There just seems to be something about crows...

 

Crow Circles is a tiny bit of a take on crop circles. I like to use a sense of humor whenever I can with my work. Crows; those black birds that are often thought of in conjunction to dark things are actually full of color if you look at them in the light...I've used a bit of color on this guy..purples and blues. He's ready to ship on or about April 6, 2013 when he is fully dry. The nice 1.5" depth allows for sitting on a shelf, but his wire also allows for hanging in that perfect spot!

On a bit of a sad note...we in the art world here in Colorado are mourning the loss of KATHY BERLS; a local artist and friend who served the art community for over 25 years as a co-founder of Lakewood Arts Council, a manager of the long running, and still going strong South Union Gallery and co-op.  Kathy's oils are a beautiful example of light and shadow with her flowers and still life work.  I own her work as do many here and around the country.  Kathy was a friend and mentor that helped me immeasurably in my work when I first arrived.  She passed away nearly a week ago after a short and very hard fight with cancer. She will be sorely missed!

 If you have ever wondered why I add the - a Crow...or any other descriptive term it is because search engines will like it better to have the description.  If someone is looking specifically for something they will type that word in...thus...the - ......:)

 

The little gallery wrap canvas is nice for these little guys sometimes...they can hang right on the wall OR sit alone on a shelf.  I paint these for my gallery in Conifer...Luna's Mandala.  But, until he is dry he is here and you can buy him directly from me!
