Beads and such for my next canvas bead necklace...
...boy I can't leave these babies outside as the squirrels love to eat em!!
Today is lab day for my paper casting. When I make paper casts I devote a few hours to them to get as many poured as possible. I'm hoping to get some I am satisfied with to put in my ETSY store, but I'm pretty picky!
CAN'T YOU JUST SMELL THE COFFEE!!
I thought...since I'm in the "lab" that I may as well have some fun...I mean some MORE fun...so as I was walking around with a piece of ham in my mouth (gotta eat)...I thought...COFFEE...Yep...you heard me...so it came into my mind to see what coffee in the pulp would do...so, before I really thought it through I had dumped a bit of my husband's stash of coffee in the water...This maple leaf is coffee"ish"...Don't have a clue what it will do...but now I'm scared to go to my fridge cuz I'm not sure what else I may try...! YEA experimenting!! Which brings to mind...be watching for something else with the casting...coming soon!!
This is FUN to do...just stamp, paint, and do WHATEVER...cuz we are really just after the color!!
While I let my casts dry I pulled out some canvas to paint and stamp and such in preparation for a yellow canvas beadish necklace to go with my re-mix sweater from a few days ago...So, it's busy doins around here today...Good thing my sweetie is out of town for the day cuz I'm not sure how he would handle the mess my kitchen; I mean "lab" is in right now...FUN TO BE AN ARTIST!!
I've been doing some thinking since the book thing and the interest in some of my projects...hmmmm...perhaps a book of my own...nothing big...just something to offer to those who may want to find out just HOW I DO SOME OF WHAT I DO...anyway...food for thought...Yummm...that makes me want a cookie...
HAPPY CREATING TO YOU ALL!!
